Current social distancing policies and government restrictions may make it difficult for some patients with acute injuries to access advice, imaging and treatment through their normal private healthcare channels. Others may be reluctant to attend already overstretched NHS Accident and Emergency Departments. Early diagnosis and treatment of these injuries is often an important factor in achieving an optimal outcome.

The London Orthopaedic Clinic’s acute musculoskeletal injury service allows patients easy access to advice from experienced Consultants, state of the art imaging and surgical intervention, where appropriate. Our team of expert Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons can provide an urgent care service for the non-operative or surgical management of musculoskeletal emergencies such as injuries to the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, foot and ankle.

Our clinicians are available for consultation via video link (currently covered by all major private medical insurers) and when necessary, radiographs and scans can be arranged promptly in central London. If urgent surgery is required, admission will be arranged, following a negative COVID 19 test, carried out by the Pre-Assessment Team.
