Knee Pain

Including a variety of conditions such as bursitis, quadriceps or patella tendonitis or bony and cartilage conditions such as joint surface damage, cartilage tears and knee arthritis. Symptoms may include pain, swilling, stiffness or the knee giving way. Examination by a consultant would be aimed at identifying the cause and further scans may be required.  Treatment plans could include physiotherapy, injections or surgery.
