Role Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to provide assistance to our Accounts Manager and to the wider business. You will need to have a high attention for detail, be very well organized, a strong communicator and be very skilled using Microsoft Office and Sage.

This will be a challenging and interesting role for an efficient, flexible and enthusiastic individual.

Ideally, you would have had a similar role within the healthcare sector though this is not mandatory.

Responsibilities: 

  • Post sales receipts and perform monthly reconciliations.
  • Input vendor invoices.
  • Follow up aged debtors.
  • Liaising with patients and clients over the phone to resolve accounts queries and receiving payments.
  • Other administrative tasks as required.

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience of using DGL Practice Manager is desirable though not essential.

Previous experience of using Sage is essential and experience of version 22 is desirable.

Experience using Microsoft Excel is an essential requirement.

Medical Secretary

Role Description:

We are seeking a float Medical Secretary to join our friendly clinic to provide general support to our team of Orthopaedic Consultants. This will be a challenging and interesting role for an efficient, flexible and enthusiastic individual.

Responsibilities: 

  • Liaising with administrative and clinical staff members within the clinic and with external organisations to ensure the smooth management of outpatient clinics and surgical cases
  • One to one patient contact
  • General administrative duties; responding to telephone and email enquiries, arranging appointments, invoicing, typing letters and obtaining medical reports
  • Ad hoc duties as required

Skills & Experience: 

  • A minimum two years’ previous experience working in a similar role within an Orthopaedic facility
  • High level of typing accuracy
  • An ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritise duties effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to act with empathy and discretion
  • Previous experience of using DGL Practice Manager
