Medical Secretary/PA (Full Time)
The London Orthopaedic Clinic (TLOC) has an exciting career opportunity for a highly professional Medical Secretary/PA in the heart of the prestigious Harley Street Medical Area.
The right candidate will be diligent, proactive, have an excellent rapport with patients, work to high standards under pressure and be experienced at taking responsibility for all aspects of supporting a busy, full-time Consultant Surgeon’s private practice, at senior level.

Medical Secretariat Manager
We have an immediate vacancy for an experienced senior Medical PA and proven leader, to take on managerial responsibility for our Secretariat while acting also as the clinic’s Admin Lead. The duties of this role will include provision of PA support to our clinicians in the absence of their PA. The post is full time and will require flexible working hours between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills. A minimum of 5 years professional experience as a Medical PA, ideally in orthopaedics, in private practice is desireable. Proficiency with DGL Practice Manager, awareness of regulatory standards (CQC, CMA, GDPR, HSE) and experience process improvement would be advantageous.

We are seeking a Float Medical PA to join our friendly team to support our team of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Specialists.This will be a challenging and interesting role for an efficient, flexible and enthusiastic individual.
Liaising with administrative and clinical staff members within the clinic and with external organisations to ensure the smooth management of outpatient clinics and surgical cases
One to one patient contact
General administrative duties; responding to telephone and email enquiries, arranging appointments, invoicing, typing letters and obtaining medical reports
Ad hoc duties as required
Skills & Experience:
A minimum three years’ previous experience working in a similar role within an Orthopaedic facility
Previous experience of DGL Practice Manager is essential
High level of typing accuracy
An ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritise duties effectively and efficiently
Excellent communication skills and an ability to act with empathy and discretion
